About
An escape
My art journey began with children's drawing books when I was old enough to hold a pencil. Some become discouraged when seeing beautiful art, as though they'll never reach that potential, but I always saw beauty in my progress. Pieces I now look back on with laughter, were deeply special to me at the time. The most important thing was always my personal excitement for the project I started, no matter what anyone else thought. In high school, art was my great escape from the impending pressures of adulthood. I wasn't thinking about careers, loans, or taxes, I was in my own world. In fact, it is still my escape.
Moving Forward
Somehow, I am afloat, having not forsaken my dignity or identity. The world of art and music offers me a playground to unleash my inner anger, sorrow, and elation. I am free when I am holding a pencil, or a microphone. I am an experience, creating my own adventure. Enjoy browsing my art.
